Support for Read & Rec'd on iPhone

Email readandrecd.support@gmail.com for help with your account, library backup, private Rec'ds, book search, or imports.

Before You Contact Support

  1. Confirm your iPhone has an internet connection for account, backup, Rec'd, search, and Spotify features.
  2. Close and reopen Read & Rec'd, then retry the action once.
  3. Include the screen name, what you selected, what happened, and what you expected.
  4. For account help, email from the address associated with your Read & Rec'd account when possible.

Never send your password, email confirmation code, password-reset link, Spotify token, or any other secret.

Common Requests

Protect a Local Library

Books and goals are saved on the device first. If you have reading data you want to keep, avoid deleting the app until you have signed in and confirmed Library protected, or exported a Read & Rec'd library file from Profile → Account & library settings.

Reset Your Password

Sign out, open Profile, enter the account email, and select Forgot password?. Open the newest recovery email on your iPhone and follow the link back to Read & Rec'd. If an account exists for that email, the message will come from Read & Rec'd Support.

Delete Your Account

In Read & Rec'd, open Profile → Account & library settings → Delete account. Choose whether to keep the reading library on that iPhone or erase it too, then confirm. Account deletion permanently removes the cloud profile, backup, and private Rec'd records associated with the account.

If you cannot sign in, email support from the account address and request deletion. We may ask for information needed to verify control of the account before acting on the request.

Privacy and Data Requests

Review the Privacy Policy for details about device data, optional account data, service providers, retention, and your choices. Email support for an access, correction, or deletion request.
